This page contains some of our favorite pictures from our car trip around Ireland.
The long room in the Trinity College library. Lots of old books and ladders!
Sand Sculpture at Dublin Castle
By wrapping my arms around this Celtic cross I achieve two things: show my arms are longer than normal and freedom from toothaches. It’s worked so far!
Hayfield Manor. A wonderful place to stay in Cork.
Conner Pass on the Dingle Peninsula
The Walled Victorian Gardens at Kylemore Abbey
The Dark Hedges. The Parisian lady staying at our B&B spent an hour the previous day finding this lane. Our GPS lady took us here quite by accident. It was one of her “unnamed roads”.
Kerbstone at Knowth passage tomb in Bru na Boinne. This art is over 5000 years old!
Newgrange Megalithic Passage Tomb in Bru na Boinne. It was built in 3200 BCE. The rock facing is reconstructed based on the archeologist’s interpretation. The interior was not reconstructed and the roof does not leak. The whole tomb covers an acre.
Just wanted you to know the link worked for me the first, original post. In fact the original one loaded faster. PS. I didnt mind looking at the lovely pics.
Hi Laurie, Thanks for the feedback. It helps me figure out the problem. I think the link worked for anyone who clicked the link within an hour or so of receiving the e-mail. I then did something that made the link stop working. The funny thing is, I did the same thing on all the other “picture pages”. I think I know the problem now so hopefully it won’t happen again.
