Amsterdam and Brussels

I am sitting in our neighborhood park creating this page while Susan is doing her laps around the park. We are walking four to six miles most days exploring Paris, and that is enough exercise for me. While Paris is beautiful, the weather is not, which gives me time to plan and work on organizing pictures. This page contains some of my favorite pictures from Amsterdam and Brussels. I know it is heavy on garden pictures, but I really loved the tulip garden in Amsterdam.

The Rijksmuseum: The Dutch have a lot of mysterious “j”s in their words. There are several I Am Amsterdam signs around the city and people love to climb on them for pictures.

    1. Glad you like the pictures. Maybe when you get older you will travel with us. Love you and miss you. Grandma and Bruce

  2. Fabulous pictures! It’s not easy to pick favorites, but I guess I’d have to say the canal shots, with flowers a very close second. If my local shopping mall looked like the one in Brussels, I might be in trouble! I’m getting the travel bug! Look forward to the next blog.

    1. Thanks for writing Joyce. We enjoy getting comments. The canals off Amsterdam and Brugges are really beautiful. I think it would be interesting to live in one of the houseboats, but it might be noisy. The mall in Brussels reminded us of the big indoor mall in Milan.
